Origins
The Sakhuja family has its roots in [New Delhi, India]. The family has worked in Vienna's restaurant trade for around 30 years.

Indien Village opened in 1996 at Rockhgasse 3 in the first district. It was one of the first North Indian restaurants in the city and is still run by the family today.
Who does what
Sunny Sakhuja runs the kitchen. Mona Sakhuja runs the service and looks after the guests.
How the kitchen works
The masalas are mixed and roasted fresh in house every day. Dishes come to the table mild; full heat on request. Traditional North Indian cooking in the personal atmosphere of a family business.
